Our Illness-Prevention & Safety Policies

Keeping our patients, staff and community healthy is one of our highest priorities. To help reduce the spread of respiratory illnesses, including COVID-19, influenza and other respiratory infections, our office follows a set of safety policies to protect everyone who walks thorugh our doors.

These measures allow us to continue providing high-quality, relationship-based care while maintaining a safe environment for vulnerable patients.

  • Symptom Screening before entering the office

    • If you are experiencing flu-like or COVID-like symptoms (such as fever, cough, sore throat, congestion, body aches or new fatigue) we will perform a rapid COVID and flu test before you enter the clinic area.

    • To help us keep the day running smoothly, please arrive a few minutes early so we can complete this screening without delaying your appointment.

    • This step helps us identify contagious illnesses early and reduce exposure for other patients, especially those who are elderly, immunocompromised or managing chronic conditions.

  • Possible transition to telehealth

    • Depending on your test results and at the discretion of our medical staff, your visit may be converted to a telehealth appointment.

We are always striving to provide safe, quality health care to our patient community. We ensure that all rooms are sanitized between patient visits and waiting areas are disinfected several times each day.
